The Blood of Christ (Sacramental Communion Wine), Tequila, Cointreau, Prosecco, Cranberry Syrup, Lime. Served in a flute rimmed with Donny's ashes & garnished with the Body of Christ, in case you're feeling a bit peckish.

Chinaman
Dude, Chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.

Recipes

A Beverage

Glass: Coupe
Ice: No
Garnish: Basil Sprig

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Gin
  • 1/2 oz Lemongrass & Ginger Syrup*
  • 1/2 oz Lime
  • 3 Basil Leaves
  • Club Soda
Instructions:
  1. Put basil and syrup into a shaker and muddle.
  2. Add gin, lime and ice. Shake!
  3. Double-strain into a coupe.
  4. Top with club soda.
  5. Garnish with a sprig of basil.

Lemongrass & Ginger Syrup:

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Ginger
  • 1 stalk Chopped Lemongrass
  • 1 cup Water
Instructions:
  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Add chopped ginger and reduce to a simmer.
  3. Simmer for as long as it takes you to prep the lemongrass.
  4. Add lemongrass and remove from heat.
  5. Cover and let sit for 1 least 3 minutes.
  6. Strain out the solids.
  7. Add sugar and dissolve.

The Jesus

Glass: Campaign Flute
Ice: No
Garnish: Communion Wafer

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 oz Tequila
  • 1/3 oz Cointreau
  • 3/4 oz Cranberry Syrup*
  • 3/4 oz Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz Communion Wine
  • Prosecco
Instructions:
  1. Salt the edge of a campaign flute with Donny's Ashes*.
  2. Put all ingredients except the prosecco in a mixing tin with ice and shake.
  3. Strain into the flute.
  4. Top with prosecco.
  5. Garnish with a split communion wafer.

Cranberry Syrup:

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Fresh Cranberries, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
Instructions:
  1. Place all ingredients In a sauce pan over low heat and bring up to a simmer, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Simmer until the cranberries are soft, about 30 minutes.
  3. Strain out solids being sure to press them to extract retained fluid.

Donny's Ashes:

Ingredients:
  • Hawaiian Black Lava Salt
  • Table Salt
Instructions:
  1. Mix tiny amounts of table salt into the Hawaiian Black Lava salt until you get an ashy-grey mixture.

Chinaman

Glass: Rocks
Ice: Yes
Garnish: Lemongrass Top

Ingredients:
  • 1/4 oz Lemongrass & Ginger Infused Baijiu*
  • 3 oz Negori Sake
  • 1-1/2 oz Grapefruit Juice
  • 1/4 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon Chopped Ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped Lemongrass
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
Instructions:
  1. Place lemongrass, ginger, and sugar into a mixing tin and muddle.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and ice. Shake!
  3. Double strain into and ice filled rocks glass.
  4. Garnish with a 6" lemongrass top.

Lemongrass & Ginger Infused Baijiu:

Ingredients:
  • Baijiu
  • Fresh Lemongrass
  • Fresh Ginger
Instructions:
  1. Chop lemongrass and ginger and place into a mason jar.
  2. Cover with Baijiu.
  3. Let that sit a few weeks, shaking the jar every time you are passing by and happen to think about it.
  4. Strain out the solids.

Dudeism

Glass: Coupe
Ice: No
Garnish: Lemon Twist

Ingredients:
  • 1-1/2 oz Aquavit
  • 3/4 oz Ginger Liqueur
  • 1/4 oz Cynar
  • 1/4 oz Beet Shrub*
  • 1/2 oz Lemon
  • Pinch of Donny's Ashes*
Instructions:
  1. Place all ingredients in a mixing tin with ice and shake.
  2. Strain into a coupe & garnish with a lemon twist.

Beet Shrub:

Ingredients:
  • 5 Beets, peeled & chopped.
  • 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Distilled White Vinegar
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Black Peppercorns
Instructions:
  1. Add beets and vinegars to a blender. Puree!
  2. Strain through a fine mesh strainer.
  3. Add beet vinegar juice to a mason jar with peppercorns and sugar. Shake!
  4. Allow to steep at room temperature for 1-2 days, shaking occasionally.
  5. Strain out peppercorns and bottle. Store in the refrigerator.

Donny's Ashes:

Ingredients:
  • Hawaiian Black Lava Salt
  • Table Salt
Instructions:
  1. Mix tiny amounts of table salt into the Hawaiian Black Lava salt until you get an ashy-grey mixture.

Cracker-ass-cracka

Ingredients:
  • 1-1/2 oz Vodka
  • 1/2 oz Espresso Syrup*
  • 1/2 oz Chai Concentrate (unsweetened)*
  • 2 dashes Chocolate Bitters
  • 1 oz Heavy Cream
Instructions:
  1. Place all ingredients in a mixing tin with ice and shake like crazy.
  2. Strain into a coupe.
  3. Grate nutmeg over the finished drink.

Espresso Syrup:

Ingredients:
  • Espresso
  • Sugar
Instructions:
  1. dissolve one part sugar in two parts hot espresso. Chill.

Chai Concentrate (unsweetened):

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 Black Tea Bags
  • 6 Cardamom Pods
  • 6 Black Peppercorns
  • 6 Cloves
  • 40g Fresh Ginger (chopped)
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 3 Allspice
  • 1 Star Anise
  • 1/2 Vanilla Bean (sliced longways)
  • 1 dash Ground Nutmeg
Instructions:
  1. Bring all ingredients except tea bags together to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Add tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes.
  4. Strain & Chill.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 oz Stroh 160
  • 1/2 oz Jameson
  • 1/2 oz Pickett's Ginger Syrup
  • 1/4 oz Amaro
  • 1/4 oz Lemon Juice
  • Club Soda
Instructions:
  1. Place all ingredients except club soda in a mixing tin with ice and shake.
  2. Strain into a rocks filled rocks glass.
  3. Top with club soda & garnish with a grapefruit twist.
